visitámos e revisitámos sítios encantadores na melhor companhia (adoramos reguilas lourinhos!)

we visited & re-visited enchanting places in fantastic company (including little "non-stopping" blonde boys that we love :))

gozámos um pouco de História, cultura e comida fantástica...

enjoyed a bit of history, culture and great food...

Como tenho andado cheia de energia, tenho trabalhado na minha "lista de coisas a fazer" para a família e amigos. Esta lista é longa e pesada (especialmente na minha consciência), que eu quero eliminar o mais depressa possível :)

Because I'm full of energy lately, I've been working on my "to do list" for family and friends. This is a long and heavy list (especially on my mind), which I want to eliminate as quickly as possible :)

This piece is from my favourite cross-stitch designer, Margaret Sherry, and it was made for our niece Eimear, who is 2 years old :) I think the little girl even looks like her...

A walk in the park

Quando temos a sorte do sol aparecer por aqui, sentimos necessidade de o aproveitar ao máximo. Uma das coisas que gosto de fazer num dia solarengo é uma visita ao "Oak Park" aqui em Carlow...é muito relaxante, proporciona algum exercício e muito ar puro. Adoro!

When we are lucky enough of having the sun visiting us around here, we feel the need to soak it up. One of the things I love to do in a sunny day is to visit Oak Park here in Carlow...it's so relaxing, allows for a little exercise and a lot of fresh air. I love it!

A 2ª parte do meu projecto das girafas está completa! Yupeee!!! Espero que a Tracey goste...

Easter Cards

Este fim-de-semana entretive-me a fazer "alguns" (bom, eu perdi-lhes a conta) postais para a Páscoa. Escolhi um estilo minimalista, com peças novas, os "eyelets". Fiquei contente com o resultado. No final, ainda utilizei algumas ovelhinhas...o que não é surpresa para ninguém :)

This weekend I kept myself busy by making "some" (well, I stopped counting) easter cards. I chose a minimalist style, usinng new pieces, the "eyelets". I was really happy with the result. In the end, I also used some sheep...which is not a surprise for anyone who knows me :)

Me and the belly, the belly and me

Estão a ver quem é que estava dentro daquela barriguinha, não é? Pois é, há mais ou menos 32 anos era assim...Eu gostava de saber o que é que a minha mamã estava a sentir naquela altura :)

You can guess who was inside that belly, can't you? That's the way it was 32 years ago...I'd love to know what my mammy was feeling at that time :)

Quanto a mim, neste momento, sinto-me cheia de energia e de ideias de coisas a fazer para o bebé :)

At this moment I'm feeling full of energy and ideas on things to do for the baby :)
